The distinctive Gemsbok shofars are from an African antelope of the same name. The Dutch name is chamois. These animals have spectacular horns averaging 85 centimeters (33 inches) in length. The horn is perfectly straight with tight spirals, and is used by the animals to defend themselves. These Shofars are unusual and beautiful, with a natural charm. They are processed in accordance with instructions from the Israeli Ministry of Health and can be sent with the appropriate certificates confirming this.
