Bring grace and elegance to the ritual hand-washing with this stunningly ceramic wash cup, handmade by artist Michal Ben Yosef. A wide base and two handles will ensure that it can be held easily and comfortably. The two-tone coloring features cream and a delicate band of mauve with brown and black dots highlighting the ceramics. At the top, in three different fonts and colors is written “al netilat yo’dayim” – last words of the blessing recited when washing hands before eating bread.
For over 20 years, artist Michal Ben Yosef has been bringing beauty and depth to religious articles with her stunning ceramic hand-made designs. This wash cup is one of the many items that she crafts and kiln-fires in her studio-work shop in a Moshav near Petach Tikvah.
