Koren Publishers set as its goal to publish the first Tanach to be edited, printed and bound by Jews in the Land of Israel. The text was based on Heidenheims and a new font and graphic layout were created especially to enhance the reading. First published in 1964, Koren has published many Hebrew texts that are popular and widely accepted.
