My First Tallit Katan - Modeh Ani

Size when open: Length 21.5"/ 54.6 cm Width: 10.4"/26.4 cm

Product Description

Here is a picture of our three year old rising early to wear his tallit katan for the first time. He leaves his home with great excitement. It is so early that even the rooster sitting on the fence outside his home, greets him with the traditional waking up prayer, “Modeh ani lefanecha…”

This Tallit Katan is a one-size and is made of cotton polyester for sturdy wear. It has the tag confirming that it is 100% kosher and meets all the halachic requirements.

The moment a Jew opens his eyes in the morning, he expresses gratitude to G-d and the first words he utters are - Modeh ani, Thank you Eternal King for returning to me my soul… With this start, he is ready to embark on a new day. Modeh ani does not contain the name of Hashem so it may be recited even before washing the hands.
